Einstein Schools in Puerto Rico
Einstein Schools was one of the global projects coordinated during the International Astronomical Union centennial celebration during 2019. The project was designed to provide ideas and high quality resources for high school level teachers and students to learn about gravity and relativity. It provided worldwide guidance to more than 200 schools through the website: https://www.einsteinschools.org. In this presentation we report on the participation of Puerto Rico in this project. We describe the strategies we used to involve high school level students and teachers in different educational activities. We reflect on the lessons learned and the possibilities as we look towards the future.
