Giving On-Line Exams with Immediate Feedback
Over the years, I have tried different ways to assess my students in our Astronomy of the Solar System course. It evolved from higher-stakes exams to more frequent quizzes. Before the pandemic hit, I was giving students quizzes that included an individual round and a group round using Immediate Feedback Assessment Technique (IF-AT). While IF-AT can be administered online via Learning Catalytics, I didn't find it easy to use for giving exams. Instead, I decided to use Expert TA in order to retain the immediate feedback for students. In this talk, I will give an overview of my experience of using Expert TA for on-line exams since March 2020.

I would like to be part of the Astro 101 Thread under the topic of on-line assessment.
