Teaching Astronomy with Python
In the USA and the UK there has been a push to start teaching coding from a younger age so that all students have some coding experience. In this session I will outline how you can use coding in Python to help teach astronomy with online interactive activities which use real astronomical data. The workshop will be in three parts; an introduction to my online Python activities, breakout time where you will work in a small group on an online activity and discuss how you might use it in your instruction and finally, as a whole group we will share our discussions and have final Q and A's.
