COVID Donors: One Year Later
Thursday, July 15th, 2021
11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Breakout 5
At the risk of overuse, 2020 was an unprecedented year for fundraising—but for which organizations, and how? Now one year later, what insights have we gained? Join fundraisers from the American Red Cross, the Greater Pittsburgh Community Food Bank, and One & All for a comparison of how nonprofits adjusted their approach through the pandemic, and how you can apply what they learned to future emergency fundraising efforts of your own. We'll share with you approaches, results, and lessons learned including acting on opportunities, finding your own relevant story, and engaging your donors in a compelling way when your mission isn't core to the event.
