11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Breakout 1
In progressive philanthropy, diverse constituencies drive our work, and it's critical to speak to these groups of supporters - not at them. And, now more than ever before, it's equally important to find ways for your audience to be key players in that storytelling, contributing to the amplification of their voices and experiences through diverse content types.
In this session, you'll hear from GirlTrek and Anne Lewis Strategies about how they've helped elevate the stories of Black women across the country en route to quadrupling the organization's audience of Black women dedicated to self-care and daily walking. As we near GirlTrek's ultimate audience goal of 1 million Black women, we'll pull the curtain back on how the organization has leveraged their already-authentic content strategy in combination with sophisticated tools that make user-generated content creation easy, shareable, and consistent with both GirlTrek's values and those of its supporters.
