11:30 AM - 12:30 PM: Breakout 1
The long-term success and health of your organization depends on your donors. We don't want to just stop at a one-time gift, so it is important to keep donor communications fresh and engaging. Organizations must move beyond just text to communicate the purpose and impact of their nonprofit.
We will use the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) and The National World War II Museum as examples of two organizations that achieved tremendous success after crafting thoughtful and strategic appeals for significant moments in our history - the 75th Anniversary of World War II in 2020. Appeals were interactive so donors could participate in memorials and paid homage to specific battles, which exceed each organization's fundraising goals.
We will show you how to use donor research to deeply understand why donors support your cause and then how to deliver innovative and creative content to increase giving and donor engagement.
