Bio: Paul Champion has worked in apprenticeships for the past 30 years. He is an advocate for the global “Apprenticeship and Skills Revolution” and is totally focused on supporting employers, workforce agencies, States and the Federal Government develop, implement and deliver world class registered nontraditional Apprenticeships across America.
His goal is to prepare youth and career shifters to take advantage of good paying jobs that go unfulfilled now and to prepare for jobs of the future!
Paul is regularly called upon to contribute to international government policy around apprenticeship reforms and development. His international work includes projects in Europe, China and Hong Kong developing viable and robust Apprenticeship models to tackle youth unemployment and skills shortages along with developing legislative policy.
Outside of being CEO of TranZed Apprenticeships, he is the Non-Executive Director of Apprenticeships at Woz Enterprises and is a lead subject matter expert for various consulting organizations, supporting their direct Department of Labor technical support projects. He is one of America’s innovators who is leading the way to support the 4th Industrial Revolution through an “Apprenticeship Revolution” that goes beyond the building trades. His key focus is to work towards an American Hiring policy that looks at every open job and asks “would an apprentice be able to do this job?”
