Bio: Dr. Iona Johnson earned M.S. in Speech-Language Pathology from Loyola University and Ph.D. from University of Maryland at Baltimore County (UMBC). She is a Clinical Associate Professor and the Dean’s Faculty Fellow for Diversity and Inclusion, College of Health Professions at Towson University. She received the 2017 University System of Maryland Board of Regent's Faculty Award for Excellence in Mentoring and established the Minority Student Mentoring Group in the department of Speech-Language Pathology & Audiology.
