Bio: Shay Bilchik is the founder and Director Emeritus of the Center for Juvenile Justice Reform at Georgetown University’s McCourt School of Public Policy.The Center’s purpose is to advance a balanced, multi-systems approach to reducing juvenile delinquency that promotes positive child and youth development while also holding youth accountable.
Prior to joining McCourt in 2007, Mr. Bilchik was the President and CEO of the Child Welfare League of America, Administrator of the Office of Juvenile Justice and Delinquency Prevention, and an Assistant State Attorney in Miami, Florida.
He earned his B.S. and J.D. degrees from the University of Florida.
