Bio: Maureen Walker (she/her/hers) is the Program Administrator for SHIP of Frederick County’s THRIVE! Host Home Network. Maureen joined SHIP in August 2019. In May 2018, Maureen received her MSW from the University of Maryland School of Social Work and has been working in youth homelessness since Fall 2018. Maureen has over ten years of experience working with youth and young adults, both domestically and internationally, engaging in outreach and advocacy work including speaking engagements to community members and stakeholders. Maureen is committed to ending youth homelessness in Maryland, and ensuring youth have access to their most basic human rights.
