Mike Zackrison, CEO and Founder, Cidi Labs
Mike Zackrison started Cidi Labs in partnership with Utah State University in 2016. He’s an ed tech veteran with 20 years experience in product management, marketing, and start-up leadership. In some form or another he’s touched every major system schools use to deliver education. From the LMS (Canvas, Sakai) to the SIS (Banner, Kuali Student) and all the systems in between (CampusPipeline, SCT Luminis, uPortal, plus dozens of integrations), he’s helped forge the unified digital campuses of today.
 

Kenneth Larsen, Lead Developer and Inventor of DesignPLUS, Cidi Labs
 
Kenneth Larsen is a programmer/analyst with Utah State University’s (USU) Center for Innovative Design and Instruction (CIDI), and more importantly, is the inventor of and genius behind DesignPLUS (formerly known as Kennethware).

Kenneth blends a master’s degree in Instructional Technology and Learning Sciences from USU with 14 years of Internet development experience to empower teachers and designers to push the boundaries of online course development.

Denise Arellano, Instructional Designer, Texas Woman's University
 
Denise Arellano became an instructional designer five years ago after many years as a psychology professor. As a designer, her goal is to provide faculty with all the tools they need to deliver the best possible learning experience to their students - and she seeks to make the process as painless as possible for everyone involved. She has been with the Texas Woman’s University’s Teaching and Learning with Technology team since 2019. Denise has been using Quality Matters in online course design since 2015 and is a peer reviewer and online facilitator for APPQMR and DYOC.

Robert Caldwell, Instructional & Information Designer, North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics
 
Rob Caldwell is an Instructional Designer and Quality Matters Coordinator at North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics. Rob has a varied background, from film and television production and graphic design to education and teaching. He specializes in helping teachers plan courses using backward design, developing courses in Canvas LMS, designing for accessibility, and implementing educational technology. He is interested in technology, education, and gaming, but especially where these three intersect.
