Education to Go: Using Geolocation and Augmented Reality to Bring Learning to Real Life
Learn ways to engage your learners in real-time, active learning using geolocation, augmented reality, and other real-world learning strategies. Participants will use their smartphones to engage in demonstrations, then learn the tools and keys for success to make their own real-time learning activities. We will address all concerns, including privacy and accessibility, as part of the workshop.

Katie Evans has been teaching and designing innovative online courses for colleges and corporations for 23 years. If you have taken the peer reviewer training course, you may recognize Katie from the sample course, American Literature: 1865-Present. Katie is presenting with Jarell Fox, William Beers, and Paige Welch.
