Gabriela Alvarez, Director of Learning Design & Innovation, Florida International University
Gabriela is the Director of Learning Design & Innovation at Florida International University, the fourth-largest university in the nation. She oversees the implementation of quality online instructional design strategies
and is responsible for over 110 learning professionals tasked with the production of online courses. Gabriela
obtained her bachelor's degree in English, an MS in Adult Learning & Human Resources Development and a
Certificate in Conflict Resolution and Consensus Building.
