Cut The Thread: Reconceiving Online Discussions Beyond the Post-and-Reply Model
This session introduces a visual approach to online discussions and combines social and educational elements to help faculty and students easily create and share knowledge and reimagine the possibilities of online collaboration and learning. The platform that will be showcased is free.

Veena Radhakrishnan, Executive Director, Learning Innovation, American Society of Addiction Medicine
Veena Radhakrishnan is the Executive Director of Learning Innovation at the American Society of Addiction Medicine. Prior to that, she led the instructional design team at the Johns Hopkins Carey Business School. Veena earned her doctorate from Johns Hopkins School of Education, specializing in Instructional Design for Online Teaching and Learning. She has several years of experience in higher education, with a specific focus on designing online, blended, and face-to-face learning.
