Jose Martinez Herrera, Instructional Designer, Southern Illinois University Carbondale
Jose Herrera joined SIUC in 2014 as a Fulbrigther scholar. He was an instructor assistant for three courses in 2015-2016. He has been in the field of college teaching for around 20 years. He has also worked in K-12 education in his home country El Salvador. His research interests are topics related to online education, online instructions, learner engagement in the virtual classroom, and different types of instructor presence in online education.
