Jacklyn Pierce, Assistant Professor of English, Lake-Sumter State College
In addition to teaching Composition and Literature classes both in-person and online, Jackie Pierce is the Senior Faculty Mentor for LSSC instructors who want to improve their online classes. She guides fellow faculty members through LSSC's internal quality review process and is the school's Face-to-Face Facilitator for QM's APPQMR. She loves QM and has presented at two previous Connect conferences in 2017 & 2018.

Brenda Skoczelas, Assistant Professor of Natural Sciences, Lake-Sumter State College
Brenda Skoczelas graduated from Ball State University with a Bachelor’s in Mathematics and a Master’s in Physics. Brenda was an Assistant Professor at Ivy Tech Community College before joining Lake-Sumter State College. Brenda has been an eLearning Faculty Mentor at Lake-Sumter State College and has completed 5 Quality Matters courses. She is an APPQMR Face-to-Face Facilitator and Peer Reviewer. Lastly, Brenda was named the 2018 Association for Florida Colleges (AFC) Professor of the Year.
