Candice McPherson, Director of Design and Development, Virtual Arkansas
Candice McPherson is the Director of Design and Development at Virtual Arkansas, a state virtual program that supports the online learning needs of public schools statewide. Her role includes project management, quality control, and implementation support for course content. She has served on a variety of teams and committees devoted to improving online learning experiences including the QM K-12 Rubric Fifth Edition review team and various Virtual Learning Leadership Alliance work groups.
Paula McDougald, Design and Development Specialist, Virtual Arkansas
As the Course Design Specialist for Virtual Arkansas, a state virtual school, she supports the management of course design and development projects by assisting teachers with the creation, implementation, and revision of online courses. In addition to her experience designing and developing courses in a variety of subject areas, she taught high school mathematics online for 11 years, and has served as a Peer Reviewer for a variety of QM reviews.
Kirsten Wilson, Director of Curriculum and Instruction, Arch Ford ESC- Virtual Arkansas
Kirsten Wilson, M.Ed., is Director of Curriculum & Instruction for Virtual Arkansas, the Arkansas state virtual school. She has been immersed in online learning for a little over two years. 19 years of her career was in brick & mortar; experience spanning K-12. She currently works with an amazing team that writes 94% of the Virtual Arkansas course content and provides rigorous, relevant online courses to over 250 public schools across Arkansas.
