Enhancing Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion in the Coastal Sector
In this foundational session we define basic terms like justice, equity, diversity, inclusion, and cultural competency, and then lay out all of the reasons why this work (which we collectively call DEIJ) is important to organizations and institutions operating in the conservation field. This session will help you articulate what you mean when you are talking about DEIJ and why it is important to your organization's mission. We will encourage a lively, interactive Q&A for the last 30 minutes of the program. *Note this session will to 90 minutes long.
