Memorable and Meaningful Assessments
Creating Assessments with Limited Tools
Many courses designed according to the Quality Matters rubric use external tools for assessments. These tools allow students to create a wide variety of artifacts, such as videos, timelines, and maps. Unfortunately, these external tools often come at a price high enough to preclude their use. Such tools may offer free versions that are limited in some way. In this workshop, participants will learn to create value by designing high-quality assessments that utilize limited versions of tools.
