Title:
Transitioning to an Open Educational Resource for a Master Core Course
Description:
Want to find an open resource for your course? Where do you start? This session will provide you with a roadmap for choosing the right textbook and getting colleagues to collaborate on the implementation. This process works best for groups of colleagues teaching the same course who are willing to make things more affordable for students. The model also allows for consistency in course sections along with instructor preference for approximately one-third of the course points.

Learning Objectives:
Apply a template for course design.
Evaluate and select an open resource.
Identify techniques to help deliver consistent course content across sections.
