Beth Tossell is an attorney with the Children, Families and Aging Division (CFAD), where she serves as lead attorney for the Children’s Bureau. She came to CFAD in 2013, after working at the DC Office of the Ombudsman for Public Education and the Children’s Law Center. At the Children’s Law Center, she began as an Equal Justice Works fellow representing teenagers with disabilities in foster care and then served as a guardian ad litem, special education attorney, and policy attorney. She is a 2007 graduate of Harvard Law School and a 2002 graduate of Yale University.
