Rob Ellman is the Managing Partner of Ellman Law Group LLC in Phoenix, Arizona. He was lead Attorney General counsel for the Arizona Department of Child Safety (ADCS) in the current lawsuit from February to December 2015. Rob left the Attorney General’s Office at the end of 2015, but was later appointed as outside counsel for DCS in April 2017. He, and private co-counsel, have been defending the case since then. He has practiced law since 1985. He earned his J.D. from Cornell Law School and practiced with Hale & Dorr (now Wilmer Hale) before moving to Arizona in 1990. He has 23 years of distinguished public service as a litigator, supervising attorney, and adviser to four Arizona Attorneys General and three United States Attorneys.
