Pamela Kemp is a Special Projects attorney with the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services ("DFPS"). She graduated from Golden Gate University Law School in San Francisco and has represented child protection agencies in California and Texas for more than twenty years. In her current position she serves as a resource for trial attorneys representing DFPS, particularly on the Indian Child Welfare Act, citizenship and immigration, and international issues. She also designs legal training and resources for both caseworkers and attorneys, including the Texas Practice Guide for Child Protective Services Attorneys, which is available on the DFPS website.
